Ing. Michele Carradori

Michele Carradori lavora come Project Manager e BIM Manager presso Contec Ingegneria; in BIS-Lab® ricopre il ruolo di Direttore della Ricerca, dove mette a disposizione la sua esperienza nel campo del BIM (Building Information Modeling), con l’obiettivo di innovare il processo edilizio e introdurre la metodologia BIM nei diversi ambiti in cui operano le aziende del Gruppo Contec: dalla progettazione alla gestione in cantiere, dalla sicurezza alla gestione dell’immobile (facility management).

Nel 2015 ha sviluppato il suo interesse per il BIM durante un periodo di ricerca di sei mesi in Danimarca per la stesura della tesi, sotto la supervisione dell’ing. Carlo Zanchetta, PhD (Università di Padova) e del prof. Jan Karlshoej, responsabile di sezione presso la DTU (Danmarks Tekniske Universitet) e presidente del BuildingSMART Nordic Chapter, e in collaborazione con Permasteelisa. La ricerca di Michele era incentrata su COBie (Construction Operation Building information exchange), uno standard americano per lo scambio di informazioni tra le fasi di progettazione e costruzione e quella operativa. La tesi è stata presentata all’11ª Conferenza Europea su Modellazione di Prodotto e Processo – ECPPM 2016, tenutasi a Cipro.

Dopo una breve esperienza come ricercatore in Permasteelisa, nel giugno 2016 Michele ha iniziato il suo percorso in BIS-Lab®. Oltre a portare avanti la propria attività di ricerca, negli anni ha supervisionato tirocini e tesi di laurea e presentato il proprio lavoro in varie conferenze ed eventi di settore.

Michele Carradori works as a Project Manager and BIM Manager at Contec Ingegneria; he is the Research Director of BIS-Lab®, where he brings his expertise about BIM (Building Information Modeling). Specifically, he aims to innovating the building process and introducing the BIM methodology in the different fields in which the Contec Group companies are involved: from to design to field management, from health&safety to facility management.

In 2015, he developed his interest in BIM during a six-months research period in Denmark spent working on his thesis under the supervision of PhD. Eng. Carlo Zanchetta, (University of Padua) and prof. Jan Karlshoej, Head of Section in DTU (Danmark Tekniske Universitet) and chairman of BuildingSMART Nordic Chapter, and in collaboration with Permasteelisa. Michele’s research was focused on COBie (Construction Operation Building information exchange), an American standard for information exchange between the Design & Construction phases and the Operational one. The thesis was presented at the 11th European Conference on Product and Process Modelling – ECPPM 2016, in Cyprus.

After a brief experience as a researcher in Permasteelisa, in June 2016, Michele started his journey in BIS-Lab®. In addition to carrying on his research activity, during the years, he has supervised internships and research thesis and presented his work at various sector-specifics conferences and events.
